Ukrainian Skiftech has become the first MilTech company from Ukraine to secure a contract with the U.S. Army to develop laser simulators.

This was revealed in a company’s press release.

This agreement covers the development and technical support of advanced tactical laser systems for military training.

Skiftech is not the only company involved in this project – alongside it, leading global companies have joined the contract, including General Dynamics Mission Systems, Lockheed Martin, Cubic Defense, Saab, Athena Technologies, Cole Engineering Services, Mettle Ops, Ravenswood Solutions, and Vertex Aerospace.

The company specializes in developing laser ecosystems for military training, enabling the simulation of combat scenarios with remarkable realism, all while ensuring the safety of the soldiers.

In addition, the company’s solutions include integrated software that facilitates smooth coordination between various units during exercises, significantly boosting training effectiveness.

One of Skiftech’s standout innovations is its software designed to analyze the actions of military personnel during training. This tool provides in-depth insights into each soldier’s performance, helping identify strengths and areas for improvement while enhancing training techniques.

Today, the company’s products are actively used for training within the Armed Forces of Ukraine as well as the National Guard of Ukraine. As noted by the company, preliminary studies show that using such training systems can reduce personnel mortality by 30%.

Militarnyi previously reported that Ukrainian company 603700 has begun supplying flight controllers for FPV drones to the United States.

It is noted that the 603700’s solutions are already undergoing testing in North America and will soon be available for sale through a dealer network.

The company previously produced the Lviv v1 and Lviv v1.3 controllers, both of which have been discontinued.

The latest model, Galicia v2, is designed for FPV kamikaze and bomber drones with a frame size of up to 10 inches and supports six motors.
