The German Armed Forces official says that the training is held in barracks and training grounds in Germany.
As previously reported, on June 25, the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that the Russian authorities had drafted and approved a plan to blow up the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP).
Major General Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, stated that Russian troops had placed military equipment with explosives near 4 out of 6 power units of the ZNPP. According to him, without cooling nuclear reactors could melt within a period of 10 hours to 14 days.
A voltage hike on power lines feeding the facility, which the Russians may also cause, can lead to an accident at the ZNPP as well.
In connection with the possibility of a terrorist act by Russia, large-scale special exercises began in Ukraine on Thursday, June 29. They are conducted in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson regions.
These exercises are aimed at recreating situations when radiation leaks from one of the power units of the Zaporizhzhia NPP. All possible scenarios are also being worked out, for example, that the radioactive cloud could move to any region of Ukraine, said the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko.
On Friday, the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that the occupation contingent was gradually leaving the territory of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. Among the first to leave the station were three employees of the Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation, who had been managing the actions of the Russians. Also, according to the intelligence data, recommendations to evacuate before July 5 were received by Ukrainian employees who had signed a contract with the Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation.
