A unit of a Separate Presidential Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled a Russian assault in the Kupiansk sector.

The press service of the Ci4 Team published the video of the repulsion of the assault on Telegram.

The 4th Mechanized Battalion was involved in repelling the assault, and its aerial reconnaissance detected the advancing enemy in time.

For the offensive, the enemy allocated two BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles, which were equipped with additional protection against drones with ammunition and FPV drones.

The offensive was carried out using small groups of infantry to storm the battalion’s positions.

To repel the assault, the Ci4 Team unit of the 4th Mechanized Battalion used FPV drones, which destroyed Russian combat vehicles before they even approached the defenders’ positions.

In addition to the loss of combat vehicles, the enemy also suffered losses in military personnel who were on the IFV during the offensive.

It is worth noting that the assault attempt was made in the early morning hours of September 13, 2024.

Militarnyi previously reported that the soldiers of the 92nd Assault Brigade fought off an attempt by Russian invaders to attack Ukrainian positions in the Kharkiv region.

The 92nd Assault Brigade reported that the invaders moved from the territory of the Russian Federation in the direction of Ukraine with three armored vehicles – two BMP-2s and one T-72 tank early in the morning.

Ukrainian artillery, including cluster munitions, FPV drones, and drones with ammunition, were firing on the invaders’ armored vehicles.

As a result of successful coordinated combat work, Ukrainian defenders defeated an armored group of Russian invaders.
