Soldiers of the 46th Airmobile Brigade repelled an attempted Russian assault in the Kurakhove sector.

On August 23, an armored group of the invaders moved toward the position of the Ukrainian defenders.

However, the enemy’s movements were spotted, after which Ukrainian troops began to use various means of destruction against the invaders.

The press service of the 46th Airmobile Brigade published a video of the fighting and reported on the destroyed Russian equipment.

Initially, the Ukrainian artillery worked against the Russian armored group, which consisted of tanks and IFVs. Later, the operators of FPV drones also joined in.

According to the paratroopers, six armored vehicles of the Russian invaders were destroyed near Krasnohorivka: one tank and 4 infantry fighting vehicles.

“Once again, the Russians failed in the Kurakhove sector: six units of destroyed and damaged equipment. One tank and five infantry fighting vehicles of the Russian invaders will remain rusting in the steppes of Ukrainian Donbas forever,” the 46th Airmobile Brigade emphasized.

All available means of fire damage were used to repel another attempted Russian assault.

“The synergy of all means of combined fire support (artillery systems, FPV drones and UAVs) of the 46th Airmobile Brigade did not allow the enemy to achieve any results. And once again, they eloquently proved that it is not worth attacking our positions!” the 46th Airmobile Brigade said.

Aid from volunteers

Earlier this summer, the soldiers of the 46th Airmobile Brigade received a Pulstron reconnaissance and strike system from the Come Back Alive Foundation.

Each Pulstron has a lot of items, including, among other things, R-34 and Kazhan bombers with ammunition, reconnaissance UAVs, FPV drones of various types, pickup trucks, radio stations, etc. The system also includes car and portable radios and Starlink kits. In total, the system consists of about 40 items of various types of equipment.

This equipment helps military personnel of unmanned aerial vehicle companies in reconnaissance, fire control, combat operations management and defeating designated targets.
