Ukrainian fighters are trained to use anti-tank and anti-aircraft systems in the centers equipped with special simulators.
The Ukrainian military group “Tretia Sila” released a video of the exercises in such a center.
Recently, Chechen fighters of Ukraine from the Sheikh Mansur Battalion were trained in the center.
Soldiers of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were trained to use hand grenade launchers and anti-tank grenade launchers SPG-9.
The center is also providing training to the NLAW anti-tank systems operators.
The newly arrived soldiers of the Sheikh Mansour Battalion were trained to operate with the Igla MANPADS.
Special simulators are equipped with an interactive screen and special helmets to train the MANPADS operators. The great advantage of this shooting range is that fighters do not have to spend a whole day at the training ground.
They can gain basic primary skills in the center and then practice in the field with real weapons.
The interactive shooting ranges primarily have flexible settings.
This includes accounting for weather changes, types of terrain, adjusted wind strength and direction, time of day, season, the color of the target, number of patterns and their type, ambient temperatures, and much more.
Fighters can train to destroy static manpower targets and moving target groups, target tanks, helicopters, etc., using software simulations.
The operator, for his part, can complicate the shooter’s task by i.e. adding complex weather conditions and various obstacles to the line of fire.
