The National Guard of Ukraine prevented the Russian invaders from blocking an important road near the town of Selydove in the Donetsk region.

A Ukrainian military serviceman told the Sniper Speaks Tegelam channel that the operation was carried out by the 15th “Kara-Dag” Brigade.

“The invaders wanted to block the road under the railroad crossing,” the soldier explained.

For several days now, the Russian command has been sacrificing military equipment in this area to try to block the road between Selydove and Mykhailivka village.

Previously, the Russian invaders used armored personnel carriers for this purpose, but Ukrainian forces managed to clear the road.

This time, the Russian command sent a tank to block the road, and the tank managed to get there relatively unharmed.

After the tank stopped under an iron bridge, the crew abandoned the vehicle and tried to retreat to their positions.

However, Ukrainian attack drones managed to catch up with them and eliminate them.

Then Ukrainian soldiers sent their own tank after the Russian tank, which successfully managed to pull the invaders’ tank back to the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Currently, Ukrainian troops continue to hold key positions south of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region, despite the significant numerical superiority of Russian forces.

The Russians are trying their best to break through to Selydove. Because the town is a stronghold on the front line between Pokrovsk and Ukrainske.

As previously reported, the Ukrainian command has reinforced the defense of the Pokrovsk sector with an experienced 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade “Kholodnyi Yar”.
