Valeriy Zaluzhny, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine held a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley.

He informed his U.S. counterpart about the operational situation and the priority needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Zaluzhny emphasized that Ukraine will not stop on the way to freeing its territories under any circumstances and will not make any compromise decisions.

“I assured that we will fight as long as we have the strength. Our goal is to liberate all Ukrainian land from Russian occupation. We will not stop on this path under any circumstances,” Zaluzhny stressed.

He added that Ukrainian defenders will not accept agreements or compromise decisions with the Russian invaders.

“The Ukrainian military will not accept any negotiations, agreements or compromise decisions. There is only one condition for negotiations – Russia must leave all captured territories,” the Commander-in-Chief said in a statement.

According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ukrainian military controls the situation at the front and continues offensive actions.

“The situation at the front is stable and under control. We are closely monitoring the actions of the enemy on the border with the Republic of Belarus and are building a reliable shield to protect Ukraine from the north. The defense forces, despite the fierce resistance of the occupation forces, continue offensive actions in the Kharkiv direction,” Valeriy Zaluzhny said.

Currently, the Defense Forces in the Kherson direction are conducting stabilization actions and strengthening new defense lines.

As previously reported, on November 11, the Defense Forces of Ukraine entered the city of Kherson. The Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported that city is returning to the control of Ukraine.

After retreating from the right bank of the Kherson region, the Russian invaders are trying to gain a foothold on the left bank.

During the retreat from Kherson, the Russians destroyed critical infrastructure. The invaders blew up the Antonivskyi bridge and destroyed part of the road surface at the Kakhovka HPP dam.
