Ukrainian military strikes on Russian positions near Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant – DI

The armed forces of Ukraine destroyed equipment and attacked the enemy tent camp in Enerhodar town, near the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, by kamikaze drones.

This was reported by the Defense Intelligence of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.

The results of the work were observed from a UAV.

The video captures the moment of the explosion and Russian military scattering from the tent camp.

The military also managed to destroy the enemy’s equipment.

Damage to vehicles with anti-aircraft guns and BM-21 Grad was also reported.

As a result of hitting the tent camp, three invaders died, 12 were injured.

Eventually, the tent camp burned down because of a fire that could not be extinguished for a long time.

Information about the invader’s casualties was discussed in phone conversations and intercepted.

As previously reported, on July 20 the local witnesses reported the explosions in Enerhodar. Local media presumed that Russian troops’ positions on the territory of the Zaporizhzhia NPP were affected.

Russian media published the wreckage of a drone that struck the position of Russian troops, Polish Warmate UCAV was supposedly used.

Warmate is a loitering munition developed by WB Electronics, which was first introduced in 2014. The manufacturer declares the ammunition as a good alternative to guided anti-tank missiles.

It allows destroying the enemy’s equipment at a greater distance, simplifying the process of identifying and impressing the target compared with ATGMs.

The combat unmanned aerial vehicle in version 3.0 has improved parameters. These include, among other things, an increase in radio communication range and operating range.

The new version is equipped with an engine that is significantly less noisy. The system has the ability to automatically fold the propeller blades in the terminal attack phase.
