The Medical Forces Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces received a mobile hospital to help wounded defenders.
The mobile hospital was transferred by the Lviv Innovation Fund NGO.
The hospital is established on the basis of a 12-meter Mersedes-Benz bus and is equipped with medical equipment.
It is designed by German and Ukrainian engineers and doctors.
In particular, the idea was initiated by Yaroslav Kashuba from Lviv. The developer and implementer was Vitaliy Bahirov, a Ukrainian who has long lived and has a medical practice in Germany.
Before implementing, German experts studied the needs of the Ukrainian military and considered the experience of NATO.
“This is the first such mobile hospital in the world. It is equipped with everything necessary to stabilize the condition of our wounded soldiers who are close to the front line,” Konstantin Vashchenko, State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, shared.
With this modern mobile hospital, doctors will have more chances to save the lives of military personnel.
In particular, it is possible to simultaneously provide care to ten wounded soldiers in this mobile hospital.
The bus cabin includes:
The staff of the mobile hospital will consist of three doctors and a nurse. For an uninterrupted power supply, engineers equipped it with a cable for stationary power supply from the grid, and an inverter, which, when the bus is powered, converts the voltage from 24W to 220W.
The cost of one such mobile hospital is EUR 150 thousand. Ukrainians in Germany and the Germans donated to him. The required amount was collected over 1.5 months.
