In the course of repelling Russian military attacks on the village of Pavlivka, the Ukrainian military captured Russian armored vehicles.
In particular, the Ukrainian operators of the Omega special force unit demonstrated a captured Т-80BVM tank.
It is reported that during the hostilities, the Russian military retreated from its positions and abandoned the tank.
Presumably, the Т-80BVM tank had suffered some damage, but judging from the published frames, the engine was functioning.
On November 4, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that the Defense Forces had repelled attacks by Russian invaders in the Pavlivka region.
The Ukrainian military released footage of them moving around the settlement, while clearing the village from the Russians.
It should be reminded that recently Russian resources stated that Russian troops had entered the village of Pavlivka near Vuhledar.
Besides, Russian war correspondent Alexei Sukonkin complained on November 2 that their troops would suffer significant losses when trying to capture Pavlivka.
The village of Pavlivka is located in the Donetsk region near the important city of Vuhledar.
According to Serhii Cherevatyi, speaker of the Ukrainian eastern group of troops, the Russians are suffering heavy losses in the Pavlivka region, trying to surround the Ukrainian military.
“They are trying to attack in the area of the village of Pavlivka in the Vuhledar direction, and there are constantly fierce battles, a positional war is underway. Somewhere we had an advantage, somewhere they did. However, our Armed Forces hold their positions and make the most of striking at equipment, exterminating enemy personnel,” the speaker explained.
Judging by the published footage, an “Omega” separate special forces detachment takes part in the battles for Pavlivka. The detachment designated the National Guard of Ukraine.
