Military training has been announced in the unrecognized “Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic” (Moldova).

The Ukrainian Defense Intelligence shared the information about the call for the “special training” that the residents of this “republic” have been receiving.

The letter of the “Ministry of Defence of Transnistria” to the heads of local administrations which was obtained by the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence, reveals detailed information about the call for “special training” for the residents.

The purpose of this “special training” is to strengthen the army of the unrecognized state.

“to ensure the 100% staffing of the Peacekeeping Contingent of the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic, as well as to provide employment for the working population of the Republic,” the Defense Intelligence specified.

Ukrainian intelligence mentioned that the letter is dated April 21. That was before the start of the latest Russian provocations on the territory of “PMR” [Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic].

It is noted that men under the age of 55, who will be provided with the guaranteed “financial and material security, accommodation and food”, can participate in the training. Financial remuneration for the unemployed residents is promised to be at least 2,800 “Transnistrian rubles.”

The training will last for 90 days.

Despite participation in the training being voluntary on paper, intelligence has information that the recruitment will be coercive.

Previously, in unrecognized Transnistria in Moldova, shootings were reported in the area of military warehouses near the village of Kolbasna. Authorities of unrecognized Transnistria have already accused the Ukrainian side of these shootings.

Earlier, several explosions pounded the capital of the unrecognized “Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic” on April 25 at about 5:45 p.m. Explosions happened in the building of the “Ministry of State Security” and the branch of the Russian Federal Security Service in the “Transnistrian” region.
