Cyber specialists of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine have gained full access to all computers and servers of the self-proclaimed authorities in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Sources within the agency reported this to Militarnyi.
As part of the operation, they obtained over 100 terabytes of intelligence data, including official correspondence of the so-called “head of Crimea” Sergey Aksyonov, as well as working documents and communications between ministries and services of the “government of Crimea”.
The obtained data includes a large number of documents related to the illegal transfer of Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
The operation made it possible to acquire lists of minors who were taken by the occupation authorities to the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and to the Russian Federation – including the children’s personal details, information about their guardians, and their places of residence and education.
This information has already been forwarded to law enforcement agencies for investigation of war crimes related to the abduction of Ukrainian children.
We have also received a lot of information related to Russia’s war against Ukraine, including lists of Russian military personnel with personal details and information about their relatives.
There are also lists of prisoners and those killed, decisions on the payment of so-called “funeral allowances,” and applications from participants in the invasion requesting land plots in temporarily occupied Crimea.
Separate files of official correspondence between the ministries of the occupying authorities in Crimea and documents on numerous meetings confirm the fact of a shortage of fuel and lubricants after strikes on Russian oil refineries.
According to a source in the intelligence agency, this is the second successful intrusion into the servers of the occupying so-called authorities in Crimea in recent months.
In addition, on September 14, hackers from the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine carried out a large-scale DDoS attack on the resources of the Russian Central Election Commission.
The operation aimed to disrupt online voting during the illegal “elections” in the occupied territories of Ukraine on the so-called single voting day in Russia.
