Ukrainian operators of FPV kamikaze drones hit two Russian ground drones in the Donetsk region.

Footage of the drones’ combat operations was posted online.

On Saturday, March 16, volunteer and blogger Serhii Sternenko published a video showing a Ukrainian drone striking a Russian ground platform near Avdiivka.

The Russian ground platform was destroyed by soldiers of the 53rd Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Invaders used this ground platform to transport cargo.

The Russian crawler ground platform was probably transporting boxes of ammunition for small arms or other infantry weapons, such as grenades, etc.

A similar Russian unmanned ground evacuation and logistics platform was previously spotted near Avdiivka. Invaders use it to transport supplies and evacuate the wounded.

Another Russian ground platform on a wheeled chassis was hit by an FPV drone controlled by an operator of an attack drone company of the 79th Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Novomykhaylivka near Mariinka.

The relevant video was published on March 14 by paratroopers who are defending this part of the front line.

This is not the first time that Russian unmanned ground platforms have been destroyed in the Donetsk region.

In particular, in December, a drone operator of the 110th Mechanized Brigade used an FPV drone to hit a Russian unmanned ground vehicle as it was moving along the road towards the Russian positions in the Avdiivka industrial area.

During the Russian-Ukrainian war, FPV drones are used as kamikazes with various warheads, as well as for dropping ammunition on the enemy, after which the drone returns.
