Ukrainian drones destroyed two launchers of the Russian S-400 air defense system in the Belgorod region.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on this and released a video of the incident.
The destruction of elements of the Russian air defense system took place on December 14, 2025, in the operational area of the 568th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces.
The operators of the strike drones of the 15th Separate Artillery Reconnaissance Brigade “Black Forest” achieved this result.
Consequently, according to the General Staff, two launchers of the Russian S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system were destroyed along with the ammunition.
The released footage shows Russian anti-aircraft units traveling along a field road, presumably during a change of combat position.
OSINT analyst @moklasen on X analyzed the video and found out that the S-400 launchers were hit by drones near the village of Verkhniy Olshanets, about 50 kilometers from the border.
Earlier, the Dossier of the Spy Telegram channel reported that the Ukrainian drones struck a column of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems moving in the Belgorod region at about 16:30.
The post claimed the destruction of one 5P85SM2-01 launcher and damage to another.
As a result of the detonation after a drone hit, four 48N6DM anti-aircraft guided missiles in transport and launch containers were destroyed.
The S-400 Triumph air defense system in the Russian Armed Forces replaced the Soviet-Russian S-300 system and is actually its modernized version with enhanced combat capabilities.
The system is a very important element of the aggressor country’s echeloned air defense. Therefore, disabling the elements and maintaining such SAMs are very important for the Ukrainian Defense Forces. Such attacks take place both in Russia and on the temporarily occupied territory.
