Operators of Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces (SOF) destroyed a Russian S-400 missile launcher and struck its radar and a Pantsir-S1 air defense system in temporarily occupied Crimea.

The SOF press service reported the strikes and released a corresponding video.

Medium-range drone units launched the attacks on the night of February 25.

Judging by the video, a Ukrainian drone hit the transport-launch container with missiles on the self-propelled S-400 launcher.

The strike caused the ignition of solid rocket fuel and the complete destruction of the launcher. A follow-up drone recorded the aftermath and, if needed, could have completed the destruction.

Following that, SOF drone operators targeted the 92N6E multifunction radar, a key component of the S-400 system responsible for detecting, tracking, and guiding missiles to air targets.

The radar was destroyed near Sofiyivka in the Simferopol region.

The Telegram channel In Factum noted that the S-400 likely covered a nearby aviation hub, including the airfield at Gvardiyske and Simferopol Airport.

In addition, a SOF drone struck a Pantsir-S1 system in Crimea, which was deployed to protect Russian air defense positions and key facilities from Ukrainian drones and missiles.

Destruction of another Pantsir-S1

On February 24, soldiers from the 1st Separate USF Center also located and hit a Pantsir-S1 near Krasnosilske in temporarily occupied Crimea.
