On the night of November 12, a Ukrainian kamikaze drone attacked a fuel and lubricant depot of Russian troops in the Belgorod region.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on this.
It is reported that units of the Unmanned Systems Forces and the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, inflicted a fire attack on the Oskolneftesnab fuel and lubricants depot.
The General Staff details that the depot is located near the city of Stary Oskol, Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.
The results of combat operations are being finalized. According to preliminary information, a fire broke out on the facility’s territory.
“The destruction of such facilities creates serious logistical problems for the army of the Russian invaders and significantly reduces their offensive potential,” the General Staff emphasizes.
Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the Belgorod region, confirmed the information about the damage to the facility.
In his post, he stated that a fire had broken out at the facility and that ten fire brigades were working at the site.
In addition, local Telegram channels published videos capturing the moment of detonation of the drone’s warhead.
On November 10, Militarnyi reported that strike drones attacked a military facility in Bryansk, Russia.
The Russian official spoke about the alleged repulsion of an attack on the region by air defense forces and aircraft-type drones at about 5:30 a.m.
OSTIN analysts from the Eye of Gor group write that the drone strike could have targeted the arsenal of the 120th Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU).
