The drone operators from the 429th Separate Regiment of Unmanned Systems “Achilles” and the 43rd Artillery Brigade discovered and destroyed two Pantsir anti-aircraft missile systems with kamikaze drones.
This was reported by the Come Back Alive Foundation.
According to the foundation, the targets were detected using a Shark UAV, which the charity handed over to the 43rd Brigade in 2024.
Judging by the video, the first Pantsir-S1 was hit in the area of the weapon station, causing a fire and complete destruction of the system.
The @blinzka OSINT activist has determined that the system had been destroyed near Belgorod, about 25 km from the border with Ukraine.
The second SAM, judging by the interface of the drone used, was attacked by a UAS SETH tactical strike drone.
The peculiarity of this drone is that it has an automated guidance system. So even though the video signal was lost at a considerable distance from the target, the drone flew to and hit the Pantsir on its own. The damage was confirmed by the reconnaissance drone’s control.
The UAS SETH drones were first publicly presented in early March 2025, when the Azov Brigade received a number of these devices from the Come Back Alive Foundation.
“This strike UAV is easy to operate, fully automated and is already effectively hitting enemy targets in the Toretsk sector. Thanks to it, drone operators will be able to hunt the occupiers, their weapons and equipment even more effectively,” said the foundation’s representatives.
To achieve high aerodynamic characteristics, the developers used a triangular wing fuselage built according to the “tailless” scheme. Externally, the drone resembles the well-known Shahed-136 silhouette.
However, unlike the Shahed, this device is equipped with an electric motor that drives a push rotor. It is likely to be launched from a conventional catapult.
The range characteristics and weight of the UAS SETH warhead are not disclosed. However, judging by the form factor, it has approximately 3-5 kg of payload and a flight range of more than 50 km.
The UAS SETH was first publicly demonstrated during German Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s visit to Ukraine on December 2, 2024, but the name of the drone was not officially announced at the time.
