The Ukrainian military near Andriivka in the Donetsk region destroyed a convoy of 12 armored vehicles belonging to Russian invaders.
Lieutenant of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the call sign Alek reported about this on his personal blog Officer ✙ on Telegram.
The soldier also shared several shots of the damaged enemy equipment.
He noted that it had been a long time since the enemy had used so many armored vehicles simultaneously in the Kryvyi Rih sector.
“In the Pokrovsk sector, near Andriivka, it was quite hot today. As I mentioned earlier, the Russians have accumulated a certain amount of armored vehicles and, with flags, set off to storm in a convoy consisting of 12 armored vehicles,” the soldier wrote.
According to him, as a result of the combat actions of the Ukrainian defenders, the entire convoy of the invaders was destroyed. It seems that among the armored vehicles was also the most modern Russian tank T-90M.
The enemy’s armored vehicles were targeted by the strike drones operated by the external pilots of the Birds of Magyar and the 35th Marine Brigade.
As previously reported, in the Donetsk region, Ukrainian drones managed to stop and destroy an armored convoy. The convoy was heading towards Ukrainian positions from Russian-occupied Velyka Novosilka. The 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade reported that they had managed to completely destroy the tanks and armored personnel carriers in the convoy.
“The soldiers of the Unmanned Systems Forces skillfully stopped the enemy convoy with the help of drones. Professional work that left the enemy only ashes,” the servicemen reported.
Reconnaissance drones spotted at least six vehicles.
Part of the equipment was intercepted in one of the settlements, and then drones caught up with the second part of the armored convoy.
Mines were laid on the convoy’s road, but only the third mine managed to stop one of the tanks.
