Ukrainian investors allocated funds for the creation of the Inguar armored vehicle.

In particular, they’re financing the creation of the first prototype, according to the founder of INGUAR LLC, Artem Yushchuk, and IT entrepreneur Mykola Udianskyi, on the Parliament.UA website.

The Ukrainian enterprise is developing a MRAP-type Inguar light armored vehicle.

The financing of the project is carried out by the famous Ukrainian entrepreneur Mykola Udianskyi.

The first stage of the investment includes UAH 20 million for the development of a vehicle prototype. The prototype is assembled at the production facilities of the enterprise.

“These UAH 20 million are for the development of a prototype vehicle, i.e., the cost of one first sample,” the designers said.

The prototype is planned to be presented by the end of this year and enter state tests after that.

It is noted that in serial production, the cost will be less – UAH 10 million. Mass production means 500 job openings, not 15-20 as it is now.

Often, to make it easier, companies buy ready-made chassis and install an armored capsule on them. Inguar LLC emphasizes that they have their own chassis and capsule.

“We differ from most of our competitors in that we do not buy a ready-made vehicle and convert it, but we buy some spare parts and assemble our own vehicle,” the company says.

The company does this primarily for unification since it is planned to create a “family” of four-wheeled vehicles (for transporting troops) and six-wheeled vehicles (for example, for MLRS). Thus, the rear of the vehicle can be variable (on one axis or two).

In November 2022, the Ukrainian company Inguar presented the concepts of armored vehicles for a wide range of tasks. Then they also presented a Brimstone launcher based on these armored vehicles.
