Ukrainian Army received first BARS-8MMK mobile mortar systems.

BARS-8MMK mobile mortar system has succesfully completed the acceptance test at one of the Army exercise areas, reports UKRSPETSEXPORT press-service.

During the test BARS-8MMK proved its performance doing live fire.

First six mobile mortar systems were built as a part of the government defence order.

BARS-8MMK evaluation started in October 2018.

BARS-8MMK (also known as UKR-MMC) was created in cooperation with Spanish Everis Aeroespacial у Defensa S.L.U., responsible for deployment mechanism, traversing and elevating mechanism, and base plate design development.

Ordnance carried – 60 rounds. First shot readiness time – 35 seconds, travel preparation – up to 25 seconds.
