The most powerful assault in the past several weeks took place recently in Marinka, along the entire front line in the city and the surrounding area.

This city is defended by soldiers of the Ukrainian 79th Air Assault Brigade.

In a few days, the Russians staged twelve assaults on Ukrainian positions with the support of artillery, aviation, and armored vehicles, including tanks.

The attacks took place simultaneously in the northern, central, and southern parts of the city.

“They involved Kadyrovtsi, namely soldiers of the Vostok-Akhmat regiment and the 5th Motorized Rifle Division of the Russian army,” reported a correspondent who was in Marinka.

All assaults during the day were repelled. During the battle, two tanks were destroyed and thirty enemy soldiers killed. Another 43 were injured.

The battle for Marinka has been going on for more than a year. During this time, the Russians managed to move deep into the city, but not capture it.

“This is the sixth attack in a row this week, but it was the most massive; the Russians went along their line of contact,” said Pavlo, the unit commander of the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade. He noted that during their stay in the Marinka area, larger battles also took place.

Bihus.Info journalists showcased how one of the command posts of the Ukrainian military worked on this section of the frontline.

It is also worth noting that the Discord platform is used for communication by the Ukrainian command post, which allows the military to quickly join group voice calls.

Earlier, it became known that this platform is also used in command posts in the Bakhmut direction and in the Ukrainian territorial defense forces.
