The Ukrainian military is honing the skills in M1132 Engineer Squad Vehicle and M1126 ESVV operation.

The footage with armored vehicles of the Ukrainian military was released by analysts from the Ukraine Weapons Tracker group.

This is one of the first videos of Stryker combat engineering vehicles transferred by the United States to Ukraine.

M1132 is equipped with LWMR (Light-Weight Mine Roller). The vehicle is designed to clear defensive lines during offensive operations.

Back in January, the Pentagon announced the upcoming transfer to Ukraine of 20 Stryker with mine rollers for them.

LWMR protects the equipment from buried mines and explosive devices – the trawl defuses them in front of the vehicle. This mine trawl has been tested in combat conditions and is in service with the U.S. Army and the Canadian Forces.

The system is light in weight, but creates a powerful effect by using hydraulic energy to transfer some of the vehicle’s weight to roller wheels, creating sufficient pressure to detonate mines.

The LWMR can be quickly attached to an armored vehicle or detached from it, as well as replaced with other specialized equipment.

As previously reported, on January 19, the Pentagon announced that it would provide Ukraine with 90 Stryker armored vehicles with 20 mine rollers.

The United States has transferred Stryker armored personnel carriers with Protector RWS combat modules to Ukraine.

The first Stryker was received by Ukrainian soldiers from the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Stryker armored personnel carriers will be transferred for the first time. The United States stressed that Ukraine needed them greatly.

Stryker has been manufactured since 2001. During this time, armored personnel carriers have undergone a number of modifications and confirmed their effectiveness. Their interior has additional interior skin. This will help the crew escape even when the armored personnel carrier is seriously damaged.
