The Ukrainian Air Force struck Russian military facilities in the Russian village of Tyotkino, Kursk region.
The video of the combat work was shown on the Soniashnyk Telegram channel, which is associated with Ukrainian aviation.
According to this Telegram channel, Ukrainian aircraft hit command and observation posts and a hangar with equipment.
“Aircraft struck Russian command and observation posts and a hangar with equipment, the Russians thought they had managed to hide, but nothing escapes our watchful eyes,” the statement said.
The village of Tyotkino is located in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk oblast and is not yet part of the zone of the Ukrainian forces ground operation, which takes place in the Sudzhansky district and adjacent areas.
In March 2024, soldiers of the Freedom of Russia Legion fighting on the side of Ukraine captured a part of the village of Tyotkino during limited raids.
Soldiers of the Siberian Battalion and the Russian Volunteer Corps took part in raids in this area.
As a reminder, during the week of fighting in Russia, Ukrainian forces occupied more than a thousand square kilometers of the Kursk oblast.
On the night of August 5-6, a group of Ukrainian troops managed to advance into Russian territory between Oleshnya and Nikolayevo-Daryno in the Kursk oblast.
On the very first day, the areas where Ukrainian units had advanced began to expand both in width and depth.
Russia has only partially acknowledged its losses. During a recent meeting with Putin, the acting governor of the Kursk region stated that the Ukrainian army had captured 28 settlements and 480 square kilometers of territory. However, the Russians have not yet reported anything about the attacks on Tyotkino.
The Russian military began to build a line of trenches on the southern outskirts of the city of Lgov, Kursk oblast.
