Ukraine, together with U.S. Palantir, has launched the Brave1 Dataroom platform to test and train new artificial intelligence models for military use.

The Brave1 DefenseTech cluster reported this development.

Initially, the initiative will focus on developing autonomous technologies to detect and intercept enemy drones.

The Dataroom is described as a secure environment that will use battlefield data to test and train new military AI models.

The resulting developments will be implemented by Brave1 together with the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Military Intelligence Research Institute, and Palantir.

The platform is built on Palantir software solutions and already includes curated visual and thermal datasets of aerial targets, including Shahed drones. The database is expected to be expanded.

Ukrainian defense developers will be able to access the Brave1 Dataroom after completing compliance procedures.

In addition, the initiative covers the future transfer of battlefield-tested algorithms to Ukraine’s allies.

“We are grateful to Palantir for the technological partnership in launching Brave1 Dataroom, which will contribute to the development of new AI-based capabilities. Initially, the focus will be on autonomous detection and interception of air threats,” Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov shared.
