Ukraine and Poland will sign an agreement on cooperation regarding drones, specifically in training military drone crews.

Polish Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz stated this during a visit to Kyiv, RMF24 quoted.

According to him, the military from both countries will cooperate, among other things, in acquiring skills in the operation of UAVs.

“We will sign an agreement on cooperation between the ministries, as well as on the acquisition of skills in the operation of drones. The talks will focus on developing joint industrial initiatives,” he said.

The Polish Defense Minister also noted that another issue is to improve the skills of the Polish military based on Ukraine’s experience gained during the large-scale war with the Russian invaders.

Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz noted that the implementation of lessons learned on the modern battlefield is crucial for the transformation of the Polish Armed Forces and for the transformation of NATO as a whole.

He also emphasized the openness and readiness for cooperation on the part of Ukraine.

Previously, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said that the Polish military would learn from Ukraine’s experience in fighting Russian drones at one of NATO’s training centers in his country.
