The Portuguese company Beyond Vision has officially presented a line of unmanned systems, some of which are already being delivered to Ukraine. A new batch of upgraded drones is also being prepared for shipment.

The company’s representative told this to Militarnyi at the World Defense Show 2026 defense exhibition in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

“About three months ago, our drones were sent to Ukraine. This year we are also dispatching another batch,” she said.

One of the models is the BVH616 (HEIFU PRO) hexacopter, designed to NATO standards for operation in challenging conditions. It can remain airborne for up to 60 minutes with a 3.5 kg payload. The drone features full communication redundancy and uses artificial intelligence algorithms to maintain stable flight, including in conditions of electronic warfare.

The company also offers the BVQ418 quadcopter. The drone can fly for up to 90 minutes and carry a payload of 6–7 kg, with a maximum takeoff weight of 18 kg.

The model is adapted to carry around 60 different types of payloads, including optical sensors and cargo-drop systems.

The lineup also includes the BVT516 (VTOne), a hybrid fixed-wing drone that combines vertical takeoff with extended horizontal flight. Its endurance is 150 minutes, and its maximum speed reaches 120 km/h.

The drone is designed for reconnaissance and mapping missions and features a modular bay that allows rapid sensor replacement depending on mission requirements.

Other Beyond Vision Developments

The company also highlighted its First Responder Drone, originally developed for the U.S. market. This specialized system is mounted on the roofs of police, fire or medical vehicles and can automatically launch to assess a situation.

Beyond Vision is also working on a large underwater carrier project, with development expected to continue for about two more years. The concept envisages the creation of a carrier for six to eight small autonomous drones.

The manufacturer also showcased a compact FPV drone with a flight time of 30 minutes and a payload capacity of 1.2 kg. In Europe, the model is used for border surveillance. It is not a primary product for deliveries to Ukraine due to strong competition in this segment.

Beyond Vision is currently in talks with Ukrainian partners on integrating solutions from local developers of acoustic systems and electronic warfare equipment.
