The Territorial Defense Detachment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fighted a three-coordinate radar station back from the Russian military.
This was reported by the Militarnyi.
It is noted that the ST-68U radar and the communication center were taken back and returned to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Now we will see the sky and the land, and track the enemy at a distance of 150 km,” – says the Command of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
ST-68 is a Soviet-are mobile three-coordinate radar station designed to detect and track low-altitude targets.
In 1975, it was proposed to develop a three-coordinate radar station for the needs of the air defense forces, which would ensure the detection of low-altitude targets in conditions of intense exposure to radio interference.
In August 1975, it was decided to appoint Iskra DB as the chief developer of the ST-68U radar.
