Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence successfully acquired a trove of technical documentation on Russian military advancements, estimated to be worth $1.5 billion.

This development was officially disclosed on the Defense Intelligence website.

The Defense Intelligence press service reported receiving 100 gigabytes of classified data from the Russian company Special Technological Center LLC (STC).

This company produces military equipment used by the Russian army in the war against Ukraine.

In particular, STC manufactures unmanned systems, electronic warfare and reconnaissance systems, and other military products.

The array of information contains documentation on 194 nomenclature items on both existing and prospective military developments: drawings, specifications, patents, software, etc..

In particular, the intelligence officers received documentation concerning Orlan-10, Altius, Inokhodets, Sirius drones, 14C227 Tobol and Svet-KU electronic warfare systems, R-438 Barrier-T and R-168 Aqueduct communication systems, and Kometa chips.

According to preliminary estimates, the value of the data obtained could be as high as $1.5 billion.

According to blogger Apostle Dmitry, whose project was involved in the operation, the secret information was seized from the Russian enterprise due to employees who were dissatisfied with corruption and the policies of the company’s management.

The technical data obtained from the Russian military-industrial complex should help the Ukrainian military fight more effectively against the Russian army’s weapons.

Some of the acquired documents pertain not only to existing technologies but also to prospective developments that could contribute to the advancement of Ukrainian weaponry.

On January 4, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine released footage of a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber being set on fire at a military airfield in Chelyabinsk.
