Austria handed over special vehicles to Ukrainian rescuers and medics.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported about this.

Vienna’s emergency services handed over 11 units of fire rescue equipment, as well as 5 ambulances to Ukrainian first responders.

In addition to vehicles, many other equipment and gear arrived in Ukraine.

“Soon all this valuable technical assistance will increase the combat capability of SES units from different regions working to eliminate fires and emergencies caused by war,” the SES stated.

Vehicles from Austria have already arrived in Ukraine and reached rescuers and medics.

In early March, it was announced that Austria would provide EUR 15 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine in connection with the war.

The Austrian federal government will provide Ukraine with fuel, helmets, bulletproof vests, and humanitarian aid.

On March 2, the Austrian Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian Ambassador for the third time, condemning the ongoing aggressive war against Ukraine at the ministerial level, and calling for a ceasefire and creation of humanitarian corridors.

As previously reported, the French government handed over six firefighting vehicles and seven ambulances to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

This is the third batch of equipment supplied to Ukraine from France.

The first aid vehicles, fire tank trucks, and special emergency equipment will be dispatched to execute urgent assignments to eliminate the consequences of the Russian invaders’ actions.
