The German company Flensburger Fahrzeugbau Gesellschaft (FFG) has delivered at least eight ACSV tracked armored combat support vehicles to Ukraine.

According to Shephard, the Netherlands has also selected the ACSV as the platform for a new short-range air defense system.

The FFG ACSV (Armoured Combat Support Vehicle) is a modern tracked armored vehicle designed as a multi-role combat support platform. Its development began in the 2010s, based on the PMMC G5 concept, with serial production starting in 2021.

The vehicle weighs approximately 26.5 tonnes and measures 6.2 meters in length, 2.9 meters in width, and 2.5 meters in height. It has a crew of two and can carry up to twelve troops in the rear compartment.

The vehicle is powered by a 580-horsepower MTU diesel engine paired with a ZF automatic transmission, providing a top speed of up to 74 km/h and a driving range of up to 1,000 km.

Its protection is based on a modular armor system that can be adapted to specific mission requirements, including mine protection.

The vehicle has a payload capacity of up to 8.5 tonnes, allowing the integration of various combat modules and specialized equipment. The ACSV can be armed with machine guns, cannons, or air defense systems. It can serve as a transport vehicle, command post, medical evacuation vehicle, engineering platform, or weapons carrier.
