The Embassy of the Czech Republic reported about this.
The Czech State Material Reserves Administration has transferred two temporary bridges to Ukraine, which are used in the Czech Republic to ensure civilian transportation after extraordinary situations such as floods.
The unique construction of two heavy bridge sets is carried by twenty trucks.
The Embassy of the Czech Republic stressed that the Czech State Material Reserves Administration has been helping Ukraine since the beginning of the war through the supplies of food and medical equipment in the amount of EUR 4,8 million.
The Administration has also assisted in providing accommodation for Ukrainian refugees in the Czech Republic.
As previously reported, the Czech Republic plans to supply Ukraine with additional weapons needed to combat Russian aggression. This was stated by Defense Minister Yana Chernokhova.
According to her, as of the end of May, the Czech government has already provided CZK 3.5 billion (about EUR 140 million) in military aid to Ukraine.
The Minister stated that a new request for additional assistance in the amount of CZK 600-700 million (EUR 24-28 million) is about to be submitted to the Czech government.
Chernokhova also confirmed that the Czech Republic had provided Ukraine with weapons and heavy equipment, including tanks and helicopters.
It was previously reported that the Czech Republic started supplying Ukraine with defense weapons prior to the beginning of the full-scale aggression.
Since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, the Czech Republic has been supplying Ukraine with small arms, rockets, and medical equipment.
