A women’s Harpia drone unit has been established in Ukraine, and recruitment for it has been launched.

The Command of the Unmanned Systems Forces announced this.

It is noted that the Harpia drone unit is a community for women who seek revenge on the enemy and wish to protect their children, families, and the nation by using unmanned and robotic systems.

The unit also welcomes men, but the role of pilots delivering the final strike on the invaders will be performed exclusively by women.

The unit’s commander is Daria, call sign “DShK.” An active participant in the Revolution of Dignity, she has been performing combat missions as part of several Ukrainian special forces since 2022.

Those interested in joining the unit can expect:

• Professional training: 45 days of UAV training, 30+ days of specialized training, and team coordination before carrying out combat missions.
• A wide range of equipment: FPV drones, heavy bomber drones, strike drones, and ground robotic systems.
• Competitive pay and social guarantees in accordance with current legislation.

There is also the possibility for current servicewomen or reservists to be transferred or mobilized to the Harpia unit.

The Command of the Unmanned Systems Forces assures that they guarantee placement in the chosen position.

Last month, the head of the 14th Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Regiment recruitment unit, Yurii, with the call sign Avis, told Militarnyi how to become part of Ukraine’s high-tech military.

The chief recruiter and one of the operators of the regiment detailed how candidates join the unit, what requirements they must meet, and which specialists are needed.

If the unit’s request and the candidate’s skills match, they are offered a position.
