Ukrainian specialists have developed a new Sych long-range reconnaissance drone.

The drone was first presented by the Come Back Alive Foundation.

The manufacturer claims that the Sych drone is capable of covering a distance of up to 200 kilometers while ensuring high-quality photography.

This means that this drone can carry out reconnaissance in the deep rear of the occupied territories and even on the territory of the border regions of Russia.

“The drone is already performing combat tasks at the front as part of one of the technical intelligence units,” the Foundation stated.

The benefactors said that one Sych system costs UAH 2 million.

“The Sych is actually one of the best drones in its niche,” the Foundation added.

The Sych system consists of:

• Two reconnaissance drones;
• Catapults for launching a drone;
• Mobile control post.

Information about other specifications and the manufacturer has not yet been disclosed.

Thanks to the new long-range reconnaissance drone, the Defense Forces of Ukraine should significantly increase their intelligence capabilities.

As previously reported, the Come Back Alive Foundation also actively provides the Ukrainian Forces with drones of Ukrainian production, the Leleka-100 and PD-2.

The PD-2 is one of the best Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in its niche, and has a controlled flight radius of up to 180 km. The Leleka-100 UAV has a guaranteed route length of 100 km. In 2022, it was reported that Ukroboronprom State Concern was developing a drone capable of hitting targets at a distance of 1,000 kilometers.
