“More than 90 people and 33 units of equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire and its aftermath,” said the local head of administration.
This facility specializes in the storage of petroleum products and supplies them to the Russian army.
The Ukrainian General Staff has confirmed attacks on a number of oil depots and fuel and lubricant storage facilities of the Russian invaders in the Belgorod, Kursk, and Rostov regions.
“There is information that at least two oil tanks were hit and subsequently caught fire,” the General Staff said.
The FIRMS fire tracking system also recorded the epicenter of the fire at the fuel depot in the Rostov region.
The General Staff added that the Ukrainian Defense Forces continued to methodically undermine the military and economic potential of the Russian army.
