The Come Back Alive Foundation in cooperation with the OKKO gas station network has raised UAH 300 million for weapons for the Territorial Defense Forces.
This was reported on the Foundation’s social media pages.
The funds were raised as part of the Eye for an Eye 2 project.
UAH 300 million is 75% of the required amount to purchase 300 82mm mortars, 200 heavy machine guns, and 100 automatic grenade launchers for all Territorial Defense Forces brigades.
To complete the project implementation of the project, another UAH 100 million must be raised.
In the first half of August, 200 12.7-mm DShKM machine guns have already been delivered to the brigades of the Territorial Defense Forces.
Heavy machine guns can neutralize enemy infantry and hit Russian light armored vehicles at a distance of up to 800 meters.
This weapon also helps fight the invaders’ low-altitude air targets.
The team of the Come Back Alive Fund and the OKKO gas station network are grateful to everyone who contributed to the joint project.
The Come Back Alive Foundation and the OKKO gas station network launched a project to arm the Territorial Defense Forces in April of this year. It is called “Eye for an Eye 2” and is raising UAH 400 million.
Part of these weapons will be Ukrainian-made; therefore, the project will also support the domestic economy as these are jobs and taxes that remain and continue working in Ukraine. The Come Back Alive Foundation is purchasing the weapons.
To join the project, one should tank the car at OKKO, and 1 UAH from each liter of PULLS 95 or PULLS Diesel fuel sold at the OKKO gas station would automatically be transferred to the “EYE FOR AN EYE 2” project.
