The United Aircraft Corporation has handed over the last, seventh batch of Su-35 fighter jets for 2025 to the Russian Aerospace Forces.
This was reported on the UAC’s official Telegram page.
The aircraft were handed over after factory test flights to confirm the declared characteristics and quality of the equipment.
The plant in Komsomolsk-on-Amur manufactures the Su-35S.
The exact number of aircraft in this batch has not been disclosed, but an analysis of published photographs suggests that two or three Su-35S were delivered.
Such conclusions are based on differences in meteorological conditions in different photos. In particular, the photo of the Su-35S takeoff shows cloudy weather, whereas the photo of the two fighters shows completely different weather conditions.
This indicates that the footage was taken at different times, and the corporation is trying to hide the actual amount of equipment transferred.
According to official information, the delivery of Su-35S fighters lasted from March 29 to December 25, 2025. During the year, batches of aircraft were delivered on May 12, June 25, August 21, September 24, and November 1.
It is currently impossible to establish the exact number of aircraft received. Different sources provide estimates ranging from a minimum of 7 units to a maximum of 15 or 21 aircraft.
However, the actual number is probably in the middle, as each batch usually consisted of 2 to 3 fighter jets.
Despite the limited production rate, Russian aviation still received new aircraft for use in the war against Ukraine in 2025.
It is worth noting that the construction of the aircraft is part of a large defense order announced in 2024, aimed at producing Su-35S aircraft by 2030.
In addition, UAC announced that the plant is operating at full capacity. The company plans to increase Su-35S production by 2028, creating a need to attract more qualified personnel.
