Today, two more planeloads of ammunition for the Armed Forces arrived from the United States.

The U.S. Embassy in Kyiv reported.

The cargo is part of $200 million in immediately usable security assistance announced in January.

The U.S. plane has delivered ammunition weighing more than 80 tonnes, including ammunition, to Kyiv as Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov reported on Twitter.

Between the message of the Minister and the Embassy there is a difference in quantity, the head of The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reported on the 9th plane, and the diplomatic mission about two aircraft.

The eighth plane with military aid from the U.S. landed in Ukraine on February 5. It delivered 86 tonnes of ammunition.

According to the Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov, the U.S. has sent more than 650 tons of defense ammunition to Ukraine.

On February 3, the previous plane arrived in Ukraine with 85 tons of ammunition to 40-mm grenade launchers. The cargo was delivered by plane, which became the seventh after the announced additional $200 mln defense aid to Ukraine.

We note that today the UK handed over military aid to Ukraine. The United Kingdom handed over military cargo and equipment for the territorial defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The personal protective equipment will be handed over to the territorial defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
