The United States has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine totaling $375 million.

The aid package includes artillery ammunition, air defense equipment, anti-tank missiles, and other weapons and equipment.

The Pentagon stated this.

The capabilities in the PDA package include:

  • Air-to-ground munitions;
  • Ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS);
  • 155mm and 105mm artillery ammunition;
  • Tube-launched, Optically tracked, Wire-guided (TOW) missiles;
  • Javelin and AT-4 anti-armor systems;
  • M1117 Armored Security Vehicles;
  • Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Vehicles;
  • Light tactical vehicles;
  • Armored bridging systems;
  • Small arms;
  • Patrol boats;
  • Demolitions equipment and munitions;
  • Spare parts, ancillary equipment, services, training, and transportation.

This is the Biden Administration’s sixty-sixth tranche of equipment to be provided from DoD inventories for Ukraine since August 2021.

In September, the US Department of Defense ordered equipment to maintain F-16 fighter jets for Ukraine.

The contract was signed with Advanced Navigation and Positioning Corp, which will manufacture the equipment in Hood River, Oregon.

The signed contract, worth $14.3 million, is scheduled to run until September 30, 2025, after which the equipment will be transferred to Ukraine.

As part of this order, Ukraine will receive two transportable transponder landing instrument systems with associated Conex and trailers with spare aircraft components.

The new equipment will allow for repair work, inspection of aircraft systems at the airfield, and repairs.

The Ukrainian military is already using the American 2-CT Hawkeye experimental artillery system.

The American company AM General transferred the artillery system in April of this year, but the actual confirmation of this has only been released now.
