Ukrainian partisans distributed leaflets calling on locals to leave the temporarily occupied Kherson city.
Residents are advised to leave the city as long as the Kherson liberating operation lasts.
Counter-offensive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region are currently underway.
Residents were asked to leave the city to not hinder the Ukrainian military and not expose themselves to danger.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine created a bridgehead south of the Inhulets River, which forms the northern border of Russian-occupied Kherson.
The positions of the Russian troops on the right bank of the Kherson region look very vulnerable after the attacks of the Ukrainian troops on the bridges over the Dnipro River, which the Russian army uses for supplies.
Ukraine used its new long-range artillery to damage the bridges over the Dnipro, through which the supply of the Russian army was carried out on the right bank of the Kherson region.
One of them, the 1,000-meter long Antonivskyi Bridge near Kherson, was damaged last week.
“The 49th Combined Arms Army of the Russian Federation has a very vulnerable position on the west bank of the Dnipro, and Kherson, which is the most politically significant settlement that was occupied by Russia after February 24, is now practically cut off from other occupied territories,” British intelligence claimed.
As previously reported, the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak, commented on the strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Antonivskyi Bridge in the temporarily captured Kherson.
He noted that Russia should leave the city till they have such an opportunity.
“The invaders should learn to swim across the Dnipro. Or leave Kherson while they can. There may not be a third warning,” the adviser to the head of the President’s Office wrote.
