The Ukrainian military covered the abandoned russian tanks with gasoline and burned them down.

At least two tanks had been burned.

In particualr, the russian T-72B tank (mod. 1989) with a protective cover on the tower was covered with gasoline and burned down.

Kontakt-5 explosive reactive armour and a large-caliber NSV machine gun were removed from the tank.

The second T-72B tank was also burned, but the Kontakt-5 reactive armour was not retrieved.

It is not the first time when the Ukrainian military is burning down the russian equipment. Recently, residents helped the military burn a BM-21 “Hail” rocket-propelled grenade launcher of the russian military.
