The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the village of Malinovka, Hulyaypolsky district, Zaporizhzhia region, from Russian invaders.

Ukraine’s defense forces continue to restrain the enemy’s advance in the direction of Zaporizhzhia, and in some areas force the enemy to withdraw.

The liberation of this settlement was announced by the press service of the Zaporozhye Regional State Administration, citing the head of the Malynivka community Volodymyr Shysha.

The Territorial Defense conducted an offensive operation, during which the village of Malynivka in the Pologiv district was liberated. Now, the settlement is being cleared of saboteurs and the Russian military.

Currently, of the five large villages that are part of the community, two are completely occupied by enemy troops – Lyubymivka and Novozlatopol.

“The situation in the community is critical. The Russian occupiers have set up checkpoints and did not allow anyone into the villages,” the statement reads.

The head of the community added that it is desirable to organize a humanitarian corridor so that people who want to can leave.

It was also reported that fierce fighting is taking place in the settlements of Kamyanske, Orikhiv, Huliaipole.

A few days ago, in the Zaporizhzhya direction, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed a column of military equipment of the Russian occupiers and seized trophies.

A video from the scene of the liquidation of the Russian servicemen and armored vehicles was also published. The footage shows the destruction of trucks, BTR-80 and MT-LB armored personnel carriers.

From February 24, a large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine continues. The aggressor is shelling and destroying key infrastructure, residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers and ballistic missiles.
