On the morning of Monday, May 20, powerful explosions sounded on the outskirts of temporarily occupied Luhansk.

In social media and Telegram channels, eyewitnesses publish a video of a fire that occurred after an alleged missile attack on a military facility of the Russian invaders.

Most likely, the ammunition depot, which is located in the village of Yuvileyne, near Luhansk, was hit.

This may be evidenced by a significant amount of light-colored smoke inherent in the burning of gunpowder or solid rocket fuel, which are the basis for projectiles and rocket motors for Grad or Uragan MRLs, which are actively used by invaders in the war against Ukraine.

The village of Yuvileyne is located almost 80 kilometers from the front line. Artem Lysohor, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, noted that until 2014, in this area the Academy of Internal Affairs had worked, the premises of which had then been used by the invaders.

Videos from social media show that the Russians tried to shoot down missiles: enemy air defense operated near the temporarily occupied Luhansk.

Russian propagandists say that the strike could have been carried out by SCALP EG or Storm Shadow cruise missiles, which are provided to the Armed Forces of Ukraine within the framework of international military assistance.

These missiles have repeatedly attacked Russian military targets in the territory of temporarily occupied Luhansk.

So in April, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated the commander of the 59th Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces during a missile attack on the Russian base in Luhansk.

The death of the invader became known from the media of the aggressor state, who wrote about his funeral. It turned out to be Colonel Pavel Kropotov, who managed to fight in Syria.

Also, late in the evening of May 7, an oil depot of the invaders was hit in temporarily occupied Luhansk.

As a result of the attack, a fire broke out as there were tanks with fuel that had burned.
