The Kyiv Territorial Defense brigade received the first premises for permanent stationing, reports Militarnyi with reference to the Territorial Defense of the city of Kyiv.
According to the plan of the Kyiv City State Administration, each battalion is supposed to receive its own home station.
The plans are to make sure that each battalion of the Territorial Defense of the capital receives its own premises, and now 4 more districts stand in line.
It will be intended for the battalion headquarters, the recruiting center and also for training rooms.
The first 150 square meters premises were given to the acting commander of the 112th brigade. The following districts are as follows:
Podilskyi
Shevchenkivskyi
Obolonskyi
Holosiivskyi
The received building in Darnytskyi district needs repair and equipment installation, what will be started soon. The Department and the Territorial Defense are looking for vacant premises on a regular basis.
It is reported that currently the Department of Municipal Security is signing contracts and paying rent for the Ukrainian Territorial Defense, but in the future the contracts will be re-signed by the Ministry of Defense.
First of all, it is planned to equip rooms for medical, engineering and landmines and explosives trainings in the premises of the received building.
“Mines and explosive devices are indeed one of the biggest threats on the front line today.
“Therefore, if there are people who have relevant knowledge and experience, who are ready to come, offer their training programs, conduct classes or can help with the appropriate equipment for the rooms, let’s say, first aid kits or training models, we invite everyone,” said Mykhailo Shcherbyna, the Deputy Director of the Department of Municipal Security.
It will be recalled that Ukrainian Territorial Defense is involved in exercises to strengthen the Ukrainian border and counteract illegal migration.
