Ukrainian forces stopped the advance of an armored group of Russian troops near Kreminna.

More than ten Russian armored vehicles were deployed to attack Ukrainian positions.

Serhiy Haidai, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, reported that the advance had been stopped.

“The Russians tried to make a breakthrough with the forces of one tank company and one infantry company. The result was a beautiful bonfire of tanks,” Serhiy Haidai said.

During the battle, the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed a modern Russian T-90M Proryv tank.

“The battle was very difficult – our guys destroyed several tanks of the Russians. Their offensive was stifled. The situation has stabilized there,” Haidai noted.

The firefight took place in a wooded area near the occupied settlement of Kreminna.

In recent days, the Russian army launched offensive actions in several directions at once.

The area near Kreminna became one of the key areas for the invaders, who are trying to seize the entire territory of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

Recently, in the direction of Vuhledar, the Ukrainian military destroyed another armored group of Russians.

The photo capturing the battle near Kreminna shows that the Russians probably lost a second T-90M Proryv tank and an infantry fighting vehicle there. They left the equipment behind.

Previously, another modern Russian T-90M Proryv tank was destroyed recently in the Kharkiv region.
