The analysis of the Hnyla Vyshnia (Rotten Cherry – ed.) monitoring channel for the Zaporizhzhia region reported that the Russian frontline bomber Su-34 shot down today at around 4 am went down near the occupied town of Vasylivka.

The plane was not flying alone, the total number of deployed aircraft was not announced.

Before that, they managed to drop high-explosive aircraft bombs with planning and correction modules, but fell on the temporarily occupied territory.

At 4:03 a.m., the Hnyla Vyshnia Telegram channel reported a threat from the enemy using corrected aerial munitions.

At 4:11 a.m., in the areas near the settlements of Tokmak and Molochansk, it was reported that KABs (a common name for high-explosive aerial bombs (HABs) with universal planning and correction modules (UPCMs) were launched.

The vector of their launch was called “Stepnohirsk/neighborhoods,” and the suburbs and northern districts of Zaporizhzhia could potentially be hit.

At 4:14 a.m., the Hnyla Vyshnia Telegram channel reported that one of the attacking Russian planes had broken down, and at 4:15 a.m., the plane “disappeared somewhere above Vasylivka.”

At 7:41 a.m., the press service of the Ukrainian Air Force Command wrote on its official pages about the downing of a Russian Su-34 at about 4:00 a.m.

At first, the enemy propagandists did not comment on this message and continued their usual publications, but at exactly 12:00 pm, Ilya Tumanov, who runs the Fighterbomber telegram channel, confirmed the destruction of the plane. He also pointed out the loss of a pilot to the invasion army:

Since the beginning of the large-scale invasion, Su-34 frontline bombers have become the leading platform for Russians to launch bombing strikes on Ukrainian settlements and positions of the Defense Forces at the front.
