The Security Service of Ukraine used attack drones to destroy armored vehicles of the Russian military.

Three Russian T-72 main battle tanks were neutralized by SSU Military Counterintelligence drones.

“These days, another three T-72s were targeted and were just brilliantly destroyed by SSU officers,” the SSU said in a statement.

The footage from the video does not allow to accurately determine the degree of damage to the armored vehicles.

Presumably, the soldiers of the Security Service of Ukraine used a modified drone to drop aviation munition.

Aviation munitions for the drone were also likely converted from explosive munitions.

Reminder: since 2014, Ukraine has been actively using converted combat drones.

For these drones, Ukrainian units use various retrofitted ammunition — VOG-17 or even RKG grenades.

In 2021, Ukrainian enterprises began modifying aviation ammunition at their own facilities.

In particular, the Mayak Plant has developed the RKG-1600 cumulative combat munition for drones.

Also, the State Enterprise adapted the cumulative KZ-6 for dropping from a UAV of the multicopter type.

The development of the training and simulation version of the NI-KZ-4800 and its combat version of the KZ-4800 was carried out with the Korolyov Zhytomyr Military Institute and the “Aero-Reconnaissance” (or Center for the Implementation and Support of Automated Operational (Combat) Control Systems A2724).
