At the Defence24 Days defense conference in Poland, the Advanced Protection Systems (APS) presented the SKYctrl C-UAV system.
Militarnyi, which is a media partner of the event, reported on this.
The conference began on Monday, May 6.
The SKYctrl C-UAV system is available in stationary, portable and mobile versions:
The Polish C-UAV system also has several modifications depending on the customer’s needs.
The system manufactured by the APS company is designed to detect, track and neutralize unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that pose a threat.
It is a comprehensive solution that combines a three-dimensional airspace monitoring radar that can simultaneously detect and track multiple targets and classify them. It can also record the exact position of an airborne object in real time.
The system also includes an acoustic sensor with the ability to detect UAV engine noise and an RF sensor. The kit is modular, which allows the user to select the best components for specific needs and the type of protected object.
SKYctrl monitors airspace regardless of weather and environmental conditions.
SKYctrl uses an automated jamming system to neutralize drones by interrupting operator communications and navigation signals. For this purpose, the system has a special software that controls the countermeasures. The entire system can be controlled by a single operator.
Specifications:
The SKYctrl C-UAV systems by the APS company are also used by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The systems were procured by the DOU IT community and the Kolo Charitable Foundation in June 2022, and the first systems were delivered in September of the same year.
