The Armed Forces of Ukraine demonstrated the DANA wheeled self-propelled howitzers in action.

The video of the shootings was released by the Ukrainian serviceman on social network.

According to the serviceman, the video was made in April, but has only just been released.

The military does not say under what conditions the shootings took place, training or combat.

It should be noted that the fire from the DANA wheeled self-propelled howitzers is conducted with installed supports, which this system has on the sides and rear.

The gun of this wheeled self-propelled howitzers has a caliber of 152 mm.

The ACS is based on a modified 8×8 Tatra 815 chassis with excellent cross-country mobility.

The gun is guided either by an electro-hydraulic system or a spare manual mechanism.

The cab is mounted on the chassis in front, the combat compartment is in the middle, the engine compartment is in the rear of the chassis.

The peculiarity of DANA is that its automatic loading can work at any angle of elevation of the barrel.

The effective range of fire is 18.7 kilometers, and the maximum range is 20 kilometers.
