The Security Service of Ukraine exposed the persons involved in launching the Iskander missiles in the village of Hroza, Kharkiv region.

This was reported on the SSU’s official website.

The Security Service of Ukraine has identified two traitors who aimed Russian missiles at a cafe in the village of Hroza in the Kharkiv region on October 5.

The traitors turned out to be two local residents who sided with the Russians during the occupation of the village and were granted positions in the occupation “department of internal affairs of the military-civilian administration of the Kharkiv region.”

Thus, one of them was appointed a driver of a convoy group, and the other was an inspector of the road patrol service.

The two traitors, brothers Volodymyr Mamon (30) and Dmytro Mamon (23) are currently in the Russian Federation, where they moved with their relatives and continue to work for the aggressor country.

Prior to the attack, the traitors formed a network of informants who reported the situation in the region to them. For this, they involved neighbors, relatives, fellow villagers, and acquaintances from all over the Kharkiv region.

Under the guise of friendly conversations and correspondence in the messenger apps, the traitors asked people for information about the deployment of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and mass events in the region.

According to the investigation, in early October 2023, they started collecting information about the planned reburial of the fallen Ukrainian defender in the village of Hroza. At the same time, the traitors were fully aware that civilians who were their acquaintances and fellow villagers could die.

After talking in a messenger app with a local resident who confirmed the place and time of the event, Volodymyr Mamon passed this information on to the Russian military.

The Russians used this information to launch a targeted attack on a Ukrainian village using the Iskander tactical ballistic missile system.

The missile strike killed 53 people, including a young child. Since both criminals are hiding in Russia, comprehensive measures are underway to establish their whereabouts and punish them.

Based on the collected evidence, the SSU investigators issued suspicions under Part 2 Article 28, Part 2 Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law by a group of persons by prior conspiracy) to both suspects.

In addition, Volodymyr Mamon’s criminal actions are additionally qualified under Part 5 of Article 27, Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (aiding and abetting violations of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder, committed by prior conspiracy).

Militarnyi previously reported that on October 5, 2023, Russia launched a terrorist missile attack on a grocery store and a cafe in the village of Hroza, Kharkiv region.
