The Russian servicemen evacuated damaged helicopters from the captured Kherson airport.

On March 15, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a massive strike on Russian aviation centered on the airfield near Kherson.

Because of the attack, about 5 Russian helicopters were destroyed and several more aircraft, which were evacuated by the Russian military, were probably damaged by the wreckage.

Also recorded the destruction of 14 Russian military trucks and about 8 more were damaged.

Kherson International Airport is located near the village of Chornobaivka, near Kherson.

It is believed that this was the most ruinous known strike inflicted by the Ukrainian servicemen on Russian helicopters during this war.
